Through social gatherings, education and peaceful action, we aim to build community, promote Democratic principles and elect excellent candidates. We are an independent group but cooperate with Democratic organizations and other groups as appropriate.

How we work together
Building Community
DART social gatherings are not just fun and informative. Our events are intended to help grow a strong, united community by building friendships and trust, sharing ideas, encouraging individual & collective action toward our common Democratic goals.
Voter Education
Informed voters are wise voters. DART sponsors speakers, workshops, meet-the-candidates events, panel discussions, films, discussion groups, book clubs, etc., aiming to present facts and create a positive environment where people can formulate & share ideas. We focus on learning what we can do as individuals and groups to reach our goals.
Mobilization
DART members engage in peaceful political actions, such as get-out-the-vote initiatives, rallies, "vote with your dollars" campaigns, special projects, outreach to those in positions of power or influence, and community service to support Democratic objectives. We seek to collaborate with organizations that share our vision.
